This tutorial is intermediate level and you can do it easily. i will explain to you step by step how to make tire like this picture bellow manually.  if you following this tutorial, it will upgrade your skill and knowledge in 3D modeling using SketchUp.

.

Before we start this tutorial, you must install this plugin tool bellow on your SketchUp.
1. Shape Bender
2. Bezier Spline
3. Joint Push Pull

Download Plugin Tool Here

Step 1
Create a tire pattern like in the picture below by using bazier spline tool then extrude and make groups and rotate it

Step 2
Draw a line as shown in the picture

Step 3
Use shape bender  To make the tire pattern becomes curved by clicking the tire pattern group created then click the long line then click the curve that has been made. Here are the results of the bender image

Then the tire pattern that has been created then scales according to the desired size and rotate it.

Step 4
Duplicate the tire pattern to 48 pieces and create a circle line as shown in the picture below

Step 5
Zoom the circle that has been created then make a very small intersection so that the circle does not become a closed loop

Step 6
Repeat step 3 on the circle line so that it looks like the image below

Step 7
Draw the main tire shape as shown in the picture below

Step 8
Create a circle and use the follow me tool  command to create a full tire shape then do intersect on the model

Step 9

Extrude the tire pattern that has been intersect using joint push pull tool

Step  10
Create the center of the tire as in the picture then use the follow me tool command

Step 11
