How to Make Sofa on SketchUp

In this tutorial I will explain to you how to make a sofa on Google SketchUp as shown picture below.
This tutuorial is not too difficult but you can do it easily. by following this tutorial will upgrade your skills and knowledge in creating 3D models in SketchUp

 

Before we start this tutorial, you must install this plugin tool bellow on your SketchUp.
1. Artisan SDS
2. Soap and Skin Bubble tool
3. Vertex Tool 

4. Bezier Spline
5. Curviloft
6. Joint push pull

Step 1

Make curved lines using the Bezier Spline tool as shown picture below

Langkah 2
Draw a half circle at the end of the already curved line and then pull the half circle shape using the follow me tool to follow the  curved line. you can see the result on picture bellow

Step 3

Make shape like picture bellow and unite using  curviloft tool 

Langkah 4

Make face on back side of sofa using soap and bubble skin tool  like picture bellow.

Step 5

Extrude face using joint push pull tool and make editing like picture bellow

Step 6

Make shape on side of sofa manually like picture bellow.

 

Step 7

Make details on sofa using vertex tool  .
make square shape like picture bellow and pull in the center point of square using vertex tool, so the detail is like pyramid hole

do on many place like this picture bellow and use mirror command to unite the sofa.

Step 8
Use  subdivede and smooth tool  to make smoother shape sofa.

Step 9

Make face using soap and bubble skin tool on the back line of sofa.

Step 10
Use soften/smooth edge command to make face look smooth.

Step 11
Make feet on the sofa
