How to Multiple Many Object Automatically on SketchUp

To duplicate objects in SketchUp is easy. you can use the move tool then press ctrl then the object will be duplicated by itself. By using this method we can multiply the object by a small amount easily and quickly. But if we want the object is multiplied in large quantities of course the way will be a little inconvenient and ineffective.

To multiply a large number of objects as you wish quickly, you must install first plugin tool called Copy Along Curve into your SketchUp. This plugin can make it easier for you to multiply the objects in large quantities by following the line path that you created. how to use this plugin ?? Here is a tutorial how to use it.

For the case below we will make finned ventilation on the window

  • First make a line along the window that will be finned ventilated

  • Then make the vent fin as shown in the picture. place at the end of the line and make a group or component.

  • After that click the tab extensions and select copy along curve. Select tool will become active then click the group / component window fin and then click the line along the window that was created earlier

  • After that, do the settings as you wish. To determine how many objects are in duplicate, make changes to the object distance so that there is a change in the among number of objects. you can see the settings like in the picture below

and here the result
