How to Make Curtain On SketchUp


In this tutorial I will explain to you how to make curtains on SketchUp as shown picture below. 
this tutorial is intermediate level and you can do it easily. i will explain to you step by step how to make curtain like this picture bellow manually.  if you following this tutorial, it will upgrade your skill and knowledge in 3D modeling using SketchUp.


Before we start this tutorial, you must install this plugin tool bellow on your SketchUp.
1. Fredo Scale
2. Artisan SDS

Step 1
Make a line like the picture below and extrude it



Step 2
Scale the bottom of the curtain as shown below



Step 3
Make editng on each corner of the curtain as shown below (divide corner into small section)



Step 4
Use knife subdivide tool  to divide curtain like picture bellow

Step 5
Use smooth and subdivided tool  for smoother surface. Do it with 1 iteration


Step 6
Use fredo scale   to shrink top side of curtain.




Step 8
Make editing on top side of curtain to make random shape like picture bellow



Step 8
Use smooth and subdivided tool   to make smoother surface than before. Do it with 1 iteration.



Step 9
Divide on the top side of curtain like picture bellow using Knife tool



Langkah 10
Use sculpt tool   to make more randomly shape.




Step 11
Use vertex select tool  and select vertex point like picture bellow. press Up and Down to change diameter of selection.


Step 12
Use vertex rotate tool  to rotate selection point like picture bellow


Langkah 13
Geser bagian yang sudah dipilih kearah kanan menggunakan vertex move tool  seperti terlihat pada gambar
