How to Make Section Cut Plane On SketchUp

Doing a section cut an object usually to display an invisible area within an object that has been created like interior of the house. 

Giving section cut to a model can be done with vertical position, horisonstal, tilted 45 degrees or as needed without having to cut objects manually which takes a long time. How to do it ?? Here's how to give Section cut plane on your model quickly and easily.

• First select which objects will be given section cut. In the example below I will cut the house object horizontally so it will show the house and interior layout.

• Then draw a rectangle and place it in the area where the cut will be done on the model.

• Then click the tools tab and select the section plane. And place it on the square image then click.

You can remove the yellow marker line by clicking tab view then uncheck on section plane. You can also set the direction of the piece by right clicking on the marker of the section plane and select reverse.
