How to Attach a Object to an Angled Field Automatically On SketchUp

In this tutorial I will explain to you how to attach objects to angular fields automatically on SketchUp. This way will make you easier to create a model that requires a slope angle so you do not need to use rotate commands on the model.

If you doin this, your performance in making 3D models will be faster and more effective. This trick you can apply to attach wooden sections on the roof of the house as in the tutorial I will show you

To Attach the model into the angled field, you need an additional plugin called JHS power bar

So here we go

Step 1

Make the sections of the roof and roof shape as you wish and make the group on each model as shown below.

Step 2

Select a segment model then click Align tool 

Step 3

Select 3 points that are in line on the model segment then 3 points on the sloping roof as in the example below.

Step 4

If you have done, then the sections will be attached to the sloping roof automatically.
